Originally from Veracruz, Mexico, Erick is one of the strongest and most explosive presences in today’s competitive salsa scene. A professional dancer and competitor, he has represented Mexico in solo, partnerwork, and improvisation across stages in Colombia, Peru, Italy, the United States, Honduras, Ecuador, Chile, and now Canada.

With commanding energy, sharp musicality, and a stage presence that refuses to go unnoticed, El Terrible Morales brings to The North an artist ready to leave a mark where cold meets fire.

From Colombia and the United States, Brayian & Elana join The North Latin Festival with a partnership built on technique, versatility, connection, and passion for the craft.

Brayian Rubiano brings over 15 years of dance experience, more than 8 years of international teaching, and a strong foundation in movement, musicality, and mambo training in New York under Adolfo Indacochea and Latin Soul Dancers.

Elana Pascoguin brings fresh energy, strong performance quality, and a journey shaped through years of intensive training with Empire Mambo, after first building her foundation in hip-hop and later falling in love with salsa.

Together, they bring a dynamic artistic presence to The North, ready to inspire, perform, and leave their mark.

Blending the strength of ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary with the energy of Latin dance, heels, and reggaeton, Megan brings a versatile and powerful movement language to the stage.

As the co-founder of Volendi, her vision goes beyond performance. Through dance, she aims to inspire growth, confidence, balance, and a healthy mindset.

From Mexico, Gerardo and Madian join The North Latin Festival as one of the most powerful couples in Mexico’s bachata scene.

Internationally recognized for their striking lifts, precision, power, and commanding stage presence, they have built a strong name in the bachata world as professional dancers, choreographers, and directors.

Through their work with Bachata Team and Ánima Terra, they continue to shape and inspire bachata with technique, intensity, and artistic impact. This August, The North welcomes a couple ready to leave their mark where cold meets fire.

Internationally recognized for her work as a performer, workshop leader, and judge, Jhoana brings presence, discipline, and championship energy to every stage she steps on.

As director of JP Dance Company, she represents not only excellence, but the standard behind it. This August, The North welcomes an artist built for impact, where cold meets fire.

Scarlet is a World Salsa Champion, three-time Canadian Champion, choreographer, mentor, and one of the pioneering women of Latin dance in Canada.

For more than two decades, she has played an important role in the growth of the Canadian Latin dance community, inspiring and guiding generations of dancers through her artistry, leadership, and dedication.

As Co-Founder of Dance Vancouver Studio (DVS), Scarlet has helped create opportunities for dancers to train, perform, compete, and develop their own artistic voices. Her influence extends far beyond her achievements on the competition floor, reflecting a lasting commitment to building the stage for others to succeed.

Scarlet joins The North Latin Festival as one of Canada’s most respected and influential Latin dance artists.

Originally from Peru, Steve Alvarez has spent nearly three decades helping shape the Latin dance community in Quebec.

As Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Fuego Latino, he has dedicated his career to teaching, performing, mentoring, and developing new generations of dancers. Through his work, Steve has coached students to national and international podium finishes while inspiring thousands through salsa and bachata.

Through her work as a choreographer, performer, and entrepreneur, Marieve continues to inspire dancers to push beyond boundaries and embrace movement as a form of expression.

Known as “The Dance Engineer,” Edson Vallon has been shaping Montreal’s Latin dance scene since 1997.

Founder and Director of Saltimambo, he blends Latin, Caribbean, Afro-Cuban, and ballroom influences into a distinctive style recognized for its creativity and complexity. His work has reached stages across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia.

At The North, Edson will also perform alongside Allison of Dulce Mambo in a special collaboration.

Jhaime Vega & Valentina Diaz have built their partnership around versatility, athleticism, artistry, and a shared commitment to pushing beyond the boundaries of Latin dance.

After placing among the Top 5 in the world in Classic Bachata, they became the 2026 Professional Bachata Couples World Champions, carrying Canadian-based talent onto the international stage.

Their partnership brings together two distinct artistic worlds: Jhaime leads Alliance Dance Company in Montreal, while Valentina co-directs Volendi in Quebec City. Power and athleticism meet refinement, fluidity, and storytelling—different energies united by the same pursuit of excellence.

At The North, they represent a new generation of Canadian-based artists carrying their work beyond our borders.
